Visakhapatnam: May 20 (UNI) Adani Gangavaram Port, one of the most modern ports in India, on Tuesday claimed it has set a new record in highest productivity by handling 193,588 MTs in 24 hours on May 18, 2025, surpassing its previous highest achieved in Feb 2022.

The port has been able to surpass its previous records as management has made strategic investments in infrastructure for efficient operations.

Faster Railway network, Enhanced Cargo handling systems, Better Storage, and warehousing solutions have all acted as a catalyst for improving the vessel productivity, the port said in a release.

The port has introduced 2 additional cranes that have been commissioned in 2024.

The port expects to set further operational records and deliver Industry's Best Services to its customers.

The port has been able to surpass its previous records in its marine, railway, road, and conveyor facilities by having the right focus and investment in infrastructure.
